We look forward to you joining us at our End of Year Assembly on Friday, 11th December at 1.00pm.
Visit this articleKia ora koutou,
It would seem we have raced to the end of a rather unusual year. I am still finding it hard to believe we are in December!
This will be our last newsletter for 2020.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our community, for the support you have shown our school and learners this year. Home and school being in partnership is hugely important for the success of our school - and although we have been faced with some interesting challenges this year, I feel our connections between home and school have continued to be built upon.
Despite the challenges and changes we faced throughout the various lockdowns etc of 2020, our tamariki remained their resilient and enthusiastic selves! I could not be more proud of our Silverdale Learners.
I hope to see you at our Final Assembly next week!
Also, we have Learner Conversations booked in for Monday and Tuesday next week. Can I encourage you to sign up for a chat with your child's teacher. This is a great way to summarise the year together and have any questions you may have, answered.
Ngā mihi nui,
Michael Harrop
