The Great Gravity Eggsperiment

We have been learning about forces for our Flight inquiry. Gravity is one the four forces. When we were learning about gravity, we had to work together in small groups to plan and make something that would protect an egg while being dropped from the tower. We knew that gravity was a pulling force and that our egg would land on the ground.

We made a protective casing for our eggs. They all looked different. We were all proud of our inventions.

The day came for the big drop. We cheered each team on. We then went back inside to see if our egg survived or smashed. 5 eggs survived and 4 eggs smashed. Some of us had to consider change we would make to our invention for if we were to try it again.
