Today’s Academic Awards assembly offered us the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the academic achievements of 120 Year 12 and 13 girls.

We recognise our Highland dancers in an assembly as auditions for senior production Grimm Tales continue and our Drama students get out and about in the Christchurch theatre scene.

On Monday the 25th, I was lucky enough to be one of the select few to go to the Institute for Climate and Peace Conference with Maya Soetoro-Ng, who is the maternal half-sister of Barack Obama.

This Friday is a green themed mufti day for the whole school and if we raise the most money from competing schools we're in for a treat!!

St Margaret's will send a representation of senior students and staff to the Strike 4 Climate event on 15 March and our Environment Prefect, Pieta Surridge, will speak at the event in Cathedral Square.

Now is the time to apply for Year 7, Year 9 and Boarding Scholarships. All applications will be on a first in basis including siblings so be in early to secure your daughter's place.
