We have been working on measurement activities. As a class we created an environment to suit all learning styles, which includes hands on experiences. This is what we came up with: Everyone can learn math to the highest levels.Mistakes are valuable. Questions are really important. Math is about creativity and making sense. Math is about connections and communicating. Math class is about learning not performing. Depth is more important than speed.

As part of our PE programme we were lucky to have a First Aid session based around injuries at camp from St John. We learnt about the most common injuries that can occur when you are out at camp and how we can respond. We practiced using bandages and putting people into the recovery position safely. Although these skills are really important to know, we hope we don't have to put them into action at camp π€
