Teacher Only Day - THIS THURSDAY

The Ministry of Education is providing schools with an additional Teacher Only Day in 2023 to continue to work on the revised NZ Curriculum. The Board of Trustees would like to advise that Te Ahi Kaikōmako Rolleston School will be closed for instruction on THURSDAY 16th NOVEMBER.

School Athletic Sports

We had a very successful few days last week at our Pōhutukawa and Kahikatea School Athletic Sports. The tamariki moved around 5 activities taking part in the competitive or non-competitive version for the event. In last week's competitive results, we sorted out our zone athletics team.

In the middle weekend of the holidays, the first-ever Pump Track National Titles were held here in Christchurch. To ride on a pump track any bike can be ridden. The most popular are mountain bikes or street BMX bikes. It’s a kind of new version of a skate park.
