Out of School CareHukanui Marae Trips
Last week all our classes had the privilege of visiting Hukanui Marae - always a highlight of the year.
We are incredibly fortunate to have such a strong connection with the marae and Ngāti Wairere.
Our students gained valuable insights into the rich cultural history of the marae and Ngāti Wairere, deepening their understanding and appreciation of te ao Māori.
A heartfelt thank you to Matua Ted (kaumātua) for sharing his wisdom, Whaea Ihipera (Te Ao Mārama Board Member) for hosting us, and Whaea Sandra for coordinating this special experience, with the support of our amazing staff.
