Tēna Koutou Te Ao Mārama whānau
As we head into the term break we take the time to reflect on the incredible learning and experiences we have had at Te Ao Mārama and our teams look forward to designing exciting learning experiences for your tamariki in Term 3.
Thank you everyone for sharing in our special celebration of Matariki in Week 9. Mānawatia a Matariki! "May all the blessings and goodness of Matariki be bestowed upon you." Matariki is such a special time of year and it was beautiful to see our Te Ao Mārama whānau sharing in the celebrations, goal setting and growing their knowledge of Matariki across the school. A big thank you to our Team in the creation of the special Matariki Star Light Windows and the sharing of kai in our learning spaces.
You may have noticed there are some information plinth signs which tell the story of our Pāwaha (cultural pou) located at the front of the school. Please take the time to read and share with your children this incredible taonga (treasure).
In week 3 of Term 3 we will be welcoming back Tony, refreshed, recharged and ready to share his learning with our team.
The first five weeks of term are very exciting as we are hosting groups of International students from China. We love to share our amazing school with our overseas visitors and our learners enjoy hearing stories and sharing experiences with them.
We look forward to welcoming our tamariki back, well rested and ready to continue their learning journeys with us. We will also be celebrating our newest learners, joining us on day one, ready to begin their journey with us.
Ka kite anō au i a kotou
(See you all again)
