Hukanui Marae Trips

Please see above the timetable of when your child's whānau group will attend. We will be travelling by bus and this cost is covered by the annual Activity Fee for each student (this has been added to your Kindo account).  The activity fee covers whole school activities like the Marae trip as well as shows/concerts and partially contributes to activities such as baking, cooking, constructing things that are taken home.

This is an important event in our calendar, where the tamariki (children) and kaiako (teachers) get to experience, visit and connect to the marae our school affiliates to. This trip allows us to experience kaupapa Māori and learn about Hukanui Marae and our local iwi Ngāti Wairere .

If you are interested in attending with your tamaiti (child) you will need to bring your own car - please indicate to your child's whānau teacher if you plan on attending.
