It's hard to believe that there are only 3 weeks left until the end of Term 3! Our learners and community have a number of events to look forward to leading up to the 28th September.

Our team is growing!

Longworth Education who is our main Learning through Play professional development provider has made the list of the world's most innovative educators!

We are really looking forward to welcoming Maureen Allen, who has been appointed the new principal of Waitaha School. Maureen is passionate about inclusive education and collaboration. She will start her new role at the beginning of 2019. Exciting times.

We would really like to add some giant domino sets to our learning through play equipment. If you can assist with this project, can you please contact Sean.

Thank you for all of your ideas and suggestions. One popular request was for a school pool! The next stage is to get a small focus group together (including learners) to prioritize these ideas and suggestions. Save the date! The LINK Committee are holding a Quiz Night in conjunction with the Faringdon Community on Sat 22nd Sept @ 7pm. Tickets are available now!

The Selwyn Sports Trust have invited Lemonwood Grove to join the Rolleston schools to celebrate biking to school on 25 September (postponement date 18 October).

Our Safe Travel policy states that learners at Lemonwood Grove School are required to wear standard approved helmets when traveling to and from school using scooters, bikes, trikes and skateboards. We have also asked our staff to wear helmets. Thank you for your support around this.

This term we are reviewing one policy as a school community: Alcohol/Drugs and Other Harmful Substances

ASB School Donation Voucher.

This year the Lemonwood Grove School Board of Trustees have again requested a voluntary School Donation. This will allow us to continue to provide a rich curriculum for our learners.
