Parents of potential Year 9 students and their sons are warmly invited to attend our Family Information Evening at Timaru Boys’ High School on Thursday 3 June, 7pm-8pm.

Timaru Boys' has a time honoured tradition of allowing our Year 13s to hit the stage and take over the responsibility of running an Assembly!

This annual race was held at Ashbury Park on Thursday 27 May in cold, but fine conditions with field sizes of around 30 in each of the races.

2021 promises to be another great year for TBHS Rugby. We have started the year with well over 200 players across 10 teams.

This event was held in Dunedin from 9-13 May with fiveTimaru Boys’ High School swimmers attending: Thomas Kyle, Jack Boorer-Lilley, Harry Sargent, Luke Tompkins and Alex Tudgey.

As part of a year 10 Art project, students were required to design and construct a vehicle powered by a balloon.

The 2021 Arts Extravaganza 16-18 June is set to be an awesome three days of creativity, with all students being encouraged to participate.

Held in Wellington 19-23 April, TBHS had two swimmers competing in this high level competition: Thomas Kyle and Alex Tudgey.

The Sport Canterbury Sports Awards held on Friday 14 May saw great representation from Timaru Boys' High School - with both current students and Old Boys reaping awards.

Our Year 12 and 13 Physical Education students and the Sports Course Boys were privileged to recently have Casie Bowry from Drug Free Sport NZ as a guest speaker.

During the recent school holidays, a number of students from Timaru Boys' and Timaru Girls' took a day trip to Mount Cook.

A reminder that senior students, Year 12 and 13 (Year 11 may bring a moped or similar), must complete a vehicle permission form before they bring a vehicle to school.

Young Enterprise Trust has officially launched the new Alumni Awards and nominations are open NOW!

Parents are able to access: Daily notices, student details, financial, attendance, NCEA summary, results, POWER scores, reports and career pathways.

All students are able to download this for free on up to five devices.
