The first 5 weeks of our school year have been vibrant, with lots happening.

As always, it has been an exciting couple of weeks at The House.

This year saw the inaugural Timaru Girls’ High School Athletics Festival.

The Timaru Girls' High School Swimming Sports was held on Thursday 16th February at the Timaru Boys' High School pool.

We would like to thank all the Year 9 families who came along to meet our staff and to share in a BBQ tea.

The NZ Defence Force recently visited our school and ran a mock Fitness Test with a group of Year 11-13 students.

In the first week of school the Year 9’s attended Year 9 orientation camp held at Gunns Bush, north of Waimate

Three of our Year 13 students were selected to participate in a week-long residential programme at the University of Otago in January.

Welcome back to the 2023 School year! We have lots of exciting Careers events planned for Term 1.

The school year for our new international girls has gotten off to a great start with some great students!

The TDC are replacing an ageing sewermain on Cain Street which will affect school drop offs and pick ups.

PB4L Good Sorts are awarded to students as an acknowledgement for consistently demonstrating our school values and expected behaviours in class.

NZQA held a meeting on Tuesday 21 February for whānau who could make the 6- 7pm time slot. I hope that all those who joined found it useful.
