Principal's Word - Term 3 Week 10

Kia ora everyone!

Well, we are all well and truly ready for the holidays! Its been a busy term and we're finishing off today with our House 5-aside competition and thankfully the sun is shining!

Our students returned from Koru games yesterday and there are a few tired faces around the place today. A great time was had by all and we will have a full report in next term's newsletter on how the teams got on. A huge thank you to all the parents who stepped in to help, whether that was returning vans or coaching the teams - we really couldnt do it without you. Thank you.

Our prefects held their final prefect assembly yesterday on what will be the first of a long list of 'final' things as they come to the last 3 weeks of school next term. Those 3 weeks will be important as all of our seniors work to finish off assessments and prepare for their final examinations so attendance at school is crucial. We will also be in touch about those students who need extra time to finalise their credits to plan an individual plan which may extend after the senior leaving date of the 31st October. Remember to look out for full senior reports that are being sent out today along with our final fortnightly report for the term.

I want to wish our basketball girls all the very best as they head to Nationals in Palmerston North next week. Keep an eye on our Facebook page as I'm sure there will be lots of updates.

Have a lovely break,

Jo
