Recently in the Senior Hub I was lucky enough to dust off the teaching shoes. To be honest, it would have been a stretch to call it teaching however, I did get to witness first hand a great group of learners fully engaged.

On Wednesday morning the Junior Syndicate had a fun time doing a variety of exciting activities.

Last week our Kapa Haka group, Tikanga Wakari, did a fabulous job at the Otago Māori and Pacific Islands Festival (Polyfest)!

Some of our Senior learners have chosen to learn about Mandarin culture and language with Jenny. This week we even got to do some kung fu! Thanks for making our learning so fun Jenny.

Our PALs (Physical Activity Leaders) have had another training day recently, as well as running fitness sessions in the senior syndicate and lunchtime activities for the middle syndicate.

Once again there have been a number of children caught in the act. Well done! Award winners are:

Netsafe LIVE is a free event in Taieri about keeping young people safe online. There are sessions for school leaders, educators and parents.

Sport Otago are hosting a fun run on 30 September.
