Welcome to the third school term for 2016

My name is Liliya. Our class, Room 3, is learning about the Olympics. 

We have had AMAZING support from our community in the making of our Kapa Haka dresses!

Next month we will be hosting a whānau wānanga (family/day workshop) at our school to give our families the opportunity to experience some of our beautiful Māori arts - such as poi, harakeke (flax weaving), Māori musical instruments (taonga puoro)....and more! 

The Garden Groupers continue to keep busy maintaining our wonderful school garden.

Once again there have been a lot of children caught in the act. Well done! Award winners from 30 June - 10 August

In Room 2 we have been thinking about what manners look and sound like.
