I love how our community support our school-wide initiatives so well. This includes our amazing staff who ALL dressed up [at their own cost] for our book week character parade last Friday.

This week we were so lucky to have a visit from Kimberley Sell and her retired sniffer dog Helga

About a year ago a family approached the BoT with a mock up of our school uniforms. They wanted to provide cheaper uniform options [polos and jackets] for our families hoping for a discount of approx 20%.

In week 9 on 17th September, all WRPS learners will be taking part in an interactive drumming and dance performance. We are lucky to have Kadodo Drum and Dance NZ coming to visit us here at school and we are very excited to see what they have in store for us! This will be a great opportunity to extend our learning in the areas of Music and Dance and will complement our Arts Programme perfectly! There has been a $5 charge added to the children's school accounts.

We have had cases of headlice in our school community. Please check and treat your children. If you need head lice treatment, some can be provided by the school via GROW.
