As footwear can be expensive to replace, we gave families more than a term's notice of this. Like Burnside High School and other local schools, we have a uniform policy which parents accept when they enrol their children.

Our uniform requirements haven't changed and are published on our website.

Shoes

All students need to wear plain black or brown school shoes or sports shoes that are ALL black or ALL white. Coloured shoes and/or laces, jandals, crocs, ballet-style or slip-on shoes are not permitted.

Socks

In a similar vein, we'd like to point out that the summer sock options for Westburn uniform are:

• grey ankle-length socks worn with grey cotton shorts; or
• white ankle length socks worn with green culottes.

No other sock options are acceptable, including socks with lace tops.

The sock length in the photo above is what we consider to be 'ankle length'.

Wearing uniform with pride has always been a hallmark of Westburn School and we look forward to our students continuing to modelling our school values by wearing Westburn School’s uniform correctly.
