A Warm Welcome to Whaea Rainy, our Learning Support Coordinator.

by Jacqui van der Beek

We want to warmly welcome Lorraine Southey, our new Learning Support Coordinator. Lorraine comes to us from Masterton, where she was a Learning Support Coordinator at Masteron Primary School and Wainuioru School.

Lorraine grew up on a dairy farm in Greytown with her 8 siblings and now has two adult children.

Lorraine values inclusion, celebrating diversity, and empowering whānau and Kaiako to work together for the wellbeing of their tamariki/mokopuna.

Please make yourself known to Lorraine when you see her out on crossing duty and around our Kura.

Three Way Conferences

Three-way Conferences, 4 July (Week 10) bookings are open.
by Margie Jordan

Three-way conferences allow you to meet with your child and the classroom teacher to share learning, celebrate, and discuss the next steps. If you require time with the classroom teacher without your child, let the teacher know, and the hui could be structured so your child goes to the Library for the final 5 minutes of the time slot. Students only come to school on that day for the time booked for their 3-way conference.Click the link below to book your 15-minute slot with the classroom teacher.
