Smart Watches and Mobile Devices

Just a reminder, smart watches and mobile devices (including phones and tablets) that are able to connect to a mobile network and/or the internet are NOT permitted at school unless part of an approved plan created in consultation with a Deputy Principal.

PLEASE AVOID PICKING UP YOUR CHILDREN DURING OUR LUNCH HOUR (12.30-1:25) OR AFTER 2:45PM

Due to complex timetabling, students could be anywhere within the school grounds or buildings completing their learning, and our staff are unable to locate them easily. You may be asked to wait for a period of time until we can locate your child or until our bell goes.

Students Arriving Late

If your child arrives when (or soon after) the bell rings at 8.55am, they must still come to the office before going to their classroom, sign in on the tablet at the main counter, and take a blue slip to their teacher.

The roll is marked very soon after the bell rings, so signing in ensures that the office staff know that all students have arrived safely to school, and parents/caregivers are not contacted needlessly by automatic text.

*Please do not send your child/ren to school before 8.30am. We do not have staff on duty and it is unsafe as students are unsupervised.

TRAVELLING DURING TERM TIME

* If you are wishing to travel outside of term holidays and will require your child to be absent from school, please contact our principal directly via email: principal@bethlehemschool.ac.nz to discuss.
