We would like to warmly invite you to visit the school on Friday 2nd August during Break 2 (1.20-2.10pm) to meet with a delegation from the Young Old Girls and view the painting gifted to the school in 1970.

Kate Koller (10DLM) attended the July 2019 CASE Space School with NASA and the US Space and Rocket Centre in Houston, Texas and Huntsville Alabama, USA.

Over the 6th and 7th of July the CGHS cycling team competed at the Cycling New Zealand South Island Schools Championships at Ruapuna Raceway where we had a number of successes.

In the first week of the holidays the Year 9A and 10A CGHS Netball teams competed in the South Island Junior Championships at the Hagley Netball Courts.

This week we are thinking of one of our Year 12 students, Cass Hetherington, who is currently training in Le Temple-sur-Lot in France in preparation for representing New Zealand in the Canoe Racing Junior World Championships in Romania next week.

The Christchurch Girls’ High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora Board of Trustees will be meeting at 5pm on Monday 29 July in Room 115. Parents are welcome to attend for the first 15 minutes.

The CGHS PTA will be meeting on Monday 12th August at 6pm in the school staff room. You are all welcome to attend.
