It is lovely to welcome all our young people back to school and hear their voices around the place. We are very fortunate with the warm midday temperatures which means they are enjoying lunch outside in our beautiful grounds.

During the holidays, Sera Cox travelled to Wellington to compete in the New Zealand National Under 15 and Cadet (Under 17) Fencing Championships from the 24th to the 26th of April.

Thursday, 13th May is a Teacher Only Day. School will be closed to allow for a government mandated day around the changes to NCEA.

Over the holidays Katie Gardner, Orla Fitzgerald and Emily Bowden competed in various rowing trials.

As we head towards the flu season, this is a timely reminder of what our school expectations are for our students when they are not feeling 100%.

As we are now in term 2 Winter Uniform must now be worn to school.

We will be holding a Careers Expo in our school gymnasium on Tuesday, 11th May between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.

The Environment Committee will be running a clothes drive early Term 2.
