One of our writers, Isla Hindin (Year 12), has been published in the latest edition of Re-Draft - Redraft 20 - Death in a Raincoat.

Our rowers are having a great week at lake Karapiro. We have several teams racing in the finals today and tomorrow.

Brooke Keown, Year 11, raced at the NZ BMX Championships held in Rotorua on the 13th & 14th March 2021.

On Wednesday the 17th of March the 12GEO class went on camp to the University of Canterbury Cass Field Station.

Congratulations to Amye Kellow, Year 11, on representing Canterbury at the Elite and U19 Road Nationals, in February.

The Canterbury Athletics Finals took place at Ngā Puna Wai on Saturday, 20th March. Our team consisted of 31 athletes, with lots of great results achieved.

The first whānau hui for 2021 will be held on Tuesday 30th March. The evening will commence at 6.00p.m in the staffroom.

The school senior Ki O Rahi team competed last Friday at the Canterbury Secondary Schools Ki O Rahi tournament which was held at the Ngā Puna Wai Sports hub.

CGHS started off the rugby season with a Sevens mini-tournament at Lincoln High School. We fielded three teams - two senior and one U15 and played against Lincoln U18 and Kaiapoi U15.
