After the last couple of years, the start of our school year this year has had a relatively ‘normal’ feel about it.

The inaugural Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora Interschool House Competition will take place next week on Tuesday 21 February.

On Tuesday we are asking our students to bring a gold coin koha (or more) to support Gisborne Girls' High School and their whānau affected by Cyclone Gabrielle.

After a late qualifying tournament due to Covid, the 1st XI Cricket team qualified for the national tournament, the Gillette Venus Cup, in late October 2022.

In January 2023, Elise Didierjean (10THJ) represented New Zealand in 2 gymnastics competitions in Hawaii, USA.

During Term One, Police will be increasing their presence around High Schools throughout Christchurch.

The first whānau hui for 2023 will be held at 6pm on Thursday 23rd February in the staffroom.

This is an initiative to encourage Te Reo Māori in our kura

The next Christchurch Girls’ High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora Board of Trustees meeting will be held in Room 126 at 5pm on Monday 18 September 2023.

In Learning Enhancement we do a range of testing.

Our library committee for 2023 started their weekly meetings on Monday and are excited for an eventful year.

All students in our kura are able to collect FREE period products to take home.
