Last Thursday (14 March), an exhilarating display of talent unfolded as our fellow students competed in our annual swimming sports event.

We are very excited and proud to have three of our Level 3 NCEA Visual Art students selected for the prestigious Top Art Exhibition. Top Art is an annual touring exhibition featuring a selection of the very best NCEA Level 3 portfolios that achieved Excellence in Visual Arts in the previous year.

We would like to remind parents/caregivers dropping off and picking up their daughters to/from school to adhere to the parking areas.

Over the course of four days (14 – 17 March), four of our senior students competed at the New Zealand Surf Life Saving Championships at Mount Maunganui.

Christchurch Girls’ High School/ Te Kura o Hine Waiora had three swimmers competing in Dunedin from 1st March - 3rd March, at the South Island Club Swimming Championships.

Over the past month, Christchurch Girls’ High School/ Te Kura o Hine Waiora students, Millie Sarjeant (Year 13) and Amie Callaghan (Year 12) have been competing in Christchurch and Auckland in various fencing competitions and receiving some amazing results

The Christchurch Girls’ High School/ Te Kura o Hine Waiora Board of Trustees will be meeting at 5pm on Monday 25th March in Room 126.

Construction work to re-surface roads in the area will begin at night-time beginning Sunday 24 March. Closures will be in place from 9pm-6am until completion of the works.
