It's been another full and exciting week for me here at Columba and I am loving being part of the team. There is never a dull moment here, that's for sure! Read on for some of my "high points" - this week's "Principal's Pinnacles."

At the Dunedin Netball Prizegiving on Sunday, both Columba staff and students were awarded prizes and recognised for their contribution to this sport. A great achievement for an excellent year with Columba Netball!

Our annual Sports Awards will be held in the Marsh Sports Centre on Tuesday, 31st October at 7:00pm.

Huge appreciation goes out to our Columba Community for the incredible support and positive contribution to Golf Day 2023! Held at the St. Clair Golf Course on Friday 13th October, the day proved to be a wonderful success and the funds raised will be spread across sport development at Columba College from Years 0 - 13.

It might be strange to see students celebrating Christmas in October, but that is exactly what the international students did on Thursday.

Seven star swimmers attended the Oamaru Short Course meet at Waitaki Aquatics Center on the 14th of October. The girls had a great day of racing in a field of over 100 athletes from around the region and returned with several top 3 placings, a raft of personal bests, and two new Columba College swimming records!

Wednesday, 25th October.

What an amazing year it has been for our Columba College Ice Skaters. Outstanding results have been achieved across a number of competitions, including the recent NZ Ice Figure Skating National Championships in Dunedin!
