Agriculture day for term 4: Please see the separate article that will provide you with all sorts of details and information for our up and coming Agriculture Day with West Eyreton.
Room 6 news for term 4: Earlier this week, we informed Room 6 whānau about the upcoming teaching arrangements for next term. Mr. and Mrs. Schuyt have been teaching the class this term while Mrs. Bell has been on sick leave. They have done an excellent job, and we appreciate their mahi. Respectfully, they have decided not to continue next term, during which Mrs. Bell will serve as acting principal.
For the upcoming term, we are pleased to announce that Vanessa Smith will be joining us. She will teach Monday through Thursday, with Mrs. Bell teaching on Fridays. Mrs. Smith comes highly recommended, and Mrs. Bell will work closely with her throughout the term to ensure a smooth transition and ample support.
Ski Trip Cancelled: Unfortunately the school ski trip on Wednesday 25th September is now cancelled due to Porters ending their ski season early because of lack of snow. For those that had already paid their ski money into the school bank account please email Fiona: admin@cust.school.nz with the bank account name and bank account number that you would like this money refunded to.
Sun Hats: With the early change to warmer weather we would encourage students to bring their sun hats (navy blue bucket or wide brim hat) to school to wear while outside.
Disco fever time: I look forward to seeing everyone next Friday at the disco. Parents are welcome to join in on the dance floor too :) See the poster for more details. Please purchase your tickets by Monday.
Enjoy the nice weather.
Ka kite.
