Towards the end of last year, Hornby High students Fleur Johnson-Dunn, Kimberley MacKinnon, and Zoe Evans designed an app to help people with Alzheimer's, and their families. Hornby High School was selected as the regional winner of the TechHub CREST Challenge and flown to Wellington.

It has been a great start to the year in the year 7 & 8 team. It’s great to see the year 7’s transitioning into life at Hornby High School so well.

NCEA results in 2017 showed some solid performances, especially at Levels 1 and 3. There were some very pleasing individual results. Congratulations to all students who achieved these great results.
