The trip I took to London recently as part of the Shakespeare Globe Centre New Zealand Young Shakespeare Company is undoubtedly one of the best experiences I have ever had in my entire life so far.

Kia Ora Whānau of Tīeke Kāhui, I hope everyone has been keeping safe and warm this winter through the wet and miserable period. I am looking forward to summer and the warm weather.

Huge congratulations to all the Hornby High School sport teams. This season has been one of the toughest due to the weather conditions and players' well-being.

Thomas from the University of Canterbury came in to run a workshop for our Year 13 students who are applying for scholarships.

Mr Rees and Mrs Climo took a group of students to visit the Southern Institute of Technology and ENI Engineering.

We gratefully acknowledge funding from Mainland Foundation of $2,713 towards accommodation in Dunedin for our Senior Boys Basketball team 30 August - 3 September
