James Cook School

Newsletter #5 - Term 2

Welcome to this week's edition of our school newsletter.

I take this opportunity to thank you for your support last week when students were asked to be at home during the Teachers' Paid Union meeting.  We know that this is disruptive, however members of the union across the country were involved in on-going bargaining with the Ministry of Education.  We do know now that the Teachers have accepted the latest offer so there should be no further strike action.

We are very excited about our Art and Cultural Exhibition coming up in the last week of this term.  Read further for more about this.
