As always, our School Prizegiving was a heartfelt event celebrating and acknowledging the achievements of all students - whether that be Personal Excellence for a Year 9 student or the awarding of Dux for our top academic.

The Australian Maths Competition is the largest school competition in the world, with around 600,000 students participating from many countries.

There has been some amazing work emerging from the Technology Department this week. Congratulations to all students who worked on projects throughout the year - the hard work has paid off.

George Bates was asked to address this year's Armistice Service held at the Queen's Gardens on Wednesday. He read a poem entitled, "In Hindsight (New Zealand's) Soldiers", beautifully.
