Reports from various sports have been coming through throughout the week. Below is an update from Dave Conrad received this afternoon with the news of our Junior A Football team.... 

Chris Fennessy, ex-King’s High School student and international operatic star who has performed in operas and musicals throughout New Zealand, Asia, South Africa and on the West End in London, shared his words of advice last Friday in a two hour master-class with our own budding musical theatre enthusiasts.

On Wednesday the 30th of August the Junior 1st XI secured the Otago Junior Premier Secondary Schools' Competition with a comprehensive 2-0 win over Otago Boys' High School.

After wining their heat on the 27th August, the recently formed Theatre Sports team went on to compete in the finals last weekend.

The interhouse competition is heating up. Orators from all Houses bought out the persuasive language and incredulous faces during the debates last week.

A huge THANKS must go to the Otago Community Trust, who have assisted us with purchasing new technology for our students.

Attentions Year 13s; All orders and payment for leavers gear must be in at the office by Wednesday 13th September. We have a rugby type polo ($80.50) or L/S T shirt ($46.00).

In our never ending desire to keep pace with the demands of our customers we are announcing the trial of Sushi each Thursday. Great value and nutritious, it will remain as long it stays popular and, if the first day is anything to go by, popular it is. Order before the end of lunch on the Wednesday to guarantee no disappointment.
