Logan Park’s Junior Gold netball team came away with a third placing at the Otago Secondary School Netball Championships which were held at the Edgar Centre over a weekend in early June.

In Term 1 and a part of Term 2, the Year 10 Dance class were working on the unit called “Evolution of Dance,” in which we explored various styles of dance from throughout the 20th century up until 2019.

Charlie O’Mannin, ex-student and current editor of the Otago University Students Association magazine - Critic Magazine, came to our media studies classes to speak about the current state of Journalism and his day to day running of the magazine.

On Saturday 15 June the Otago Secondary School Chess Championship was held in our school Library.

On the 22nd of June, two teams from the LPHS robotics club competed in the regional RoboCup competition.

A group of 15 students danced and performed as part of Dunedin's magical Midwinter Carnival in June.

Amber Moffat held a writers and illustrators workshop at Logan Park High School in June.
