A team of 75 Logan Park students competed in the Dunedin Region Showquest competition on the 24th of May.

Term 2 continues to be busy and varied with lots of students enjoying a range of sporting opportunities.

The CAT competition tests logical and mathematical skills of students and Logan Park High School has traditionally done very well in this competition.

From the 31st of May to the 4th of June we held our very first Pasifika Island week.

On Tuesday the 25th and Wednesday the 26th of May, the Year 13 Bio classes got the awesome opportunity to visit the Otago University Marine Science Facilities.

On Wednesday, the 12th of May the first students arrived at 7.30am at Toitu for our visit to find out about encounters between Maori and Pakeha in the early 19th century. Luckily tables and chairs were there and card games entertained most of the students.

The Music Department has been busy in Term 2.

At the start of Term 2, a group of Logan Park students spent the morning on a tour of the Tahuna Wastewater Treatment Plant in South Dunedin.

Our school cross country was held on Thursday 20 May.
