Ranuk - A true Merrin Star

The devastating floods and mudslides in Sri Lanka prompted Ranuk to donate the money his family would have spent on a birthday party for him, to the people affected by this terrible disaster. This was a true demonstration of a Merrin Star upholding all of our school values.

Pūtahi Communication and dates for Week 9 Term 1

Lynne Clark is one of our lovely gardeners. Each Thursday she kindly leads a craft workshop, with our Year 1 tamariki. This week each child made an octopus as part of our Visual Arts 'Sea' theme. We really appreciate the time she puts in choosing and organising such interesting activities!

Junior Stars Picnic Day

The Year 0-3 team (The Junior Stars) had a fun and enjoyable day on Friday 18 March, visiting the Groynes Picnic Area. We went for a nature walk, played lots of fun outdoor games and had a picnic lunch. A big thank-you to all the parents and grandparents who helped us on our great trip!

Footsteps Dance Company

On Thursday 10 March Kate from 'Footsteps Dance Company' came to teach the Year 1 children the 'Super hero'  dance. We tried out all kinds of different super hero moves and then put them all together in a combined dance. We would love to show you some of our dance moves at home!
