A reminder that Parent / Subject Teacher interviews are scheduled in the Hiwi Commons for Tuesday 21st March and Thursday 23rd March between 1pm and 7pm. This is an excellent opportunity to discuss your child’s progress .

A reminder that all students who arrive late to school must sign in at the office. If your child is going to be late, please advise via the attendance line.

Moana whānau were excited to welcome two new year nine classes into the fold. Moana whānau enjoyed the Thursday day time on site, with peer support students in the lead assisting to get students used to our school grounds and the new faces in their whānau.

On the 3rd of February 2023, the new Year 9 Whenua students, along with their peer support leaders, went to the Lindisfarne campsite as part of Orientation Day.

On Friday 3rd March we were lucky enough to have the InZone Careers Coach on Site at Mountainview for the day.

Enrolments are now open for the following Outward Bound courses for secondary school students with physical disabilities. They run these courses run once a year in April.

The Christchurch Foundation is hosting world renowned explorer Tim Jarvis. They have an epic event that will be inspiring and cool for all students to attend!

The NZ Sailing Trust is promoting 2 trips during the school holidays to help Akonga complete their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Journey or residential trips or just to experience something new and exciting.
