If you were not in the Oaklands School hall last Thursday you missed out on a most wonderful afternoon's entertainment as we celebrated the performing arts with our Senior Citizens Concert.

Any child leaving or arriving at school between 9am and 3pm must be signed out at the office.

A reminder that students cannot be on the school grounds before 8.30am in the mornings.

The purpose of our complaints policy is to provide clear guidelines for the school community in raising and resolving concerns and complaints.

Please respect our NO GO zones and times and be considerate of other students and their families.  

With the large number of students unwell it is really important that you let the office know if your child will not be at school.

In Terms 1 and 4, all students must wear a hat when they are outdoors.

It doesn’t cost a penny to donate a little time to your child’s school & community, we are looking for helpers on Gala day Friday 4th December from 4pm-8pm Volunteers are able to help as much or as little as they can. Contact our PTA representative Hemi Peek 0276008454 hpeek@acford.co.nz 

Classes will be sending out invitations to all those parents who have helped during the year.  We welcome everyone who has supported the school during the 2015 Year

The purpose of the transition week is to support your child with their transition to their new class.

We would like to  invite all our families to our Whanau Hui in the school library.

We have received some really lovely feedback about our Year 8's on their Wellington Camp that we wanted to share!

To be presented at the next school assembly on Monday 9th May at 2pm.

During Show week the Year 8s visited Wellington

As part of the Camp to Wellington, the Year 8s went to Capital E where they had to create a TV show in a proper TV studio in 2 hours. The show they created was called "Once Upon a Crime".
