Otago Community Trust works closely with a number of funding bodies across Otago and we endeavour to hold funding clinics in a wide variety of locations around Otago throughout the year. Our next funding clinics are in Hawea, Alexandra, Ranfurly and Cromwell.

This years New Zealand International Science Festival is now underway Otago. If you are looking for some fun and excitement over the school holidays there is alot of SCIENCE CRAZINESS on offer!

Otago Community Trust is pleased to be offering subsidies to enable young people from not for profit organisations (including secondary schools) across Otago to attend the INVOLVE National Youth Conference being held in Wellington from the 9th to the 11th August 2021.

IceInLine’s new indoor curling rink officially opened in Alexandra in late May. A helping hand financially from a number of funders, including the Otago Community Trust and a whole lot of community spirit helped Central Otago’s newest curling rink project get over the line.

Hui E Community Aotearoa and Volunteering New Zealand are running an online survey about the hauora (wellbeing) of the tangata whenua, community and voluntary based sector since the pandemic began.

Otago Community Trust reminds Arts & Culture organisations based in the Dunedin City boundary that its Arts & Culture Capability Fund is now open.

Thanks to Waitaki Community Gardens Trust for a some amazing photos and an insightful accountability report providing a great summary on the success of their first stage of development at the new community garden area.

Plans to redevelop the Logan Park Tennis Centre have been in the pipeline for many years. Excitingly, Stage 1 of the redevelopment has now been completed.

The Rainbow Wellbeing Legacy Fund is to support projects, activities and organisations to improve mental health outcomes for future generations of Rainbow communities, particularly for young people.

The Catalytic Foundation (formerly United Way NZ Charitable Trust) helps individuals, businesses and philanthropists maximise their social impact.
