On Thursday, 8 of our talented 5/6 students participated in the Eastern Zones Basketball Competition.

On the 25th June, a boys and girls Year 7/8 team went to the Celebration Stadium to play in the zones basketball tournament.

Here are the results for this weeks teams competing at Hagley and Rawhiti.

To accompany the mid-year report, students will also receive a Values Report outlining progress against the School Values. Students are assessed against differentiated statements with expectations being age appropriate. Values Reports will be sent out each term.

We have had a number of unnamed winter jackets handed in to us in the office. If your child has misplaced a jacket, please come to the office and see if we have it here.

Last week for reading we got a chapter book called War Horse! (that we will be continuing for awhile). With the book, we have some activities for each chapter we do. At the end of each chapter we get back together and talk about the questions.

Well done to Nicky-Ray, Crystal, Ayaan and Starzy for meeting our school values and showing outstanding behaviour at our Friday Sports Competition.
