The careers I researched were farming, building and shearing sheep. I chose farming and have my placement with Newtons on Waipopo Farm, it is a cropping farm but they also have stock.

I'm all about my art and design. My placement at Artikel & Swint gave me a really good view of what I might be doing in that kind of job.

In term two I went to Sacred Heart for my placement to see first hand how a classroom works from a teachers perspective.

I chose Gateway this year because it gives me a good stepping stone into the workforce and I wanted to experience what it was like to work on a big farming operation.
