Zara Lokotui: (Year 6) competed in the McDonald's Hutt Valley King's Birthday Year 7 & 8 Netball tournament with the Blitz Netball Academy Y7&8 team. There were 48 teams at the tournament and Zara's team came second in the A Grade.

After beating Samuel Marsden (K1) 7 - 11, Fergusson Intermediate (Falcons) 11 - 18 and Adventure School (Pulse) 4 - 22 they played SWIS (Kiwi) in the semi finals winning 15 - 13 in overtime. Maidstone Intermediate (Tuakana) were too strong on the day and Blitz came runners up.

Lotta Leonhard & Sylvie Clayton: Both competed at Hiphop Unite, a national hiphop competition. The crew came first in the Cadet MegaCrew division, and were the only cadet crew selected to represent New Zealand at the World Championships held in Portugal in October. This is the second year that Lotta has danced in a crew that have been selected for Worlds. The girls train in an independent group called Nova, they are aged between 9-12 years and are not affiliated with any dance studio, their amazing coach is Myah Miranda.
