Newsletter Week 10, Term 3, 2023

Kia ora e te whānau

Today marks the final day of Term 3, which has been filled with remarkable moments of growth and achievement. I am always inspired by the incredible capabilities of our learners. They embrace opportunities, challenge themselves, and demonstrate perseverance and resilience. It has truly been an amazing term of learning and personal development.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you, our community, for your support and help during the term. Many of the opportunities and experiences we offer are possible because of your support and partnership - thank you!

Attendance is crucial for learning. At Silverdale, we're proud of the increase in student attendance. Every day in school matters. Your support in getting students to school on time contributes to their engagement in learning, relationship-building, social skills practice, and problem-solving. Keep up the good work!

Term 4 is a busy time! To stay informed, please read our newsletters and check the school calendar. You can access the calendar from our website, school app, or at the top of this newsletter. Stay updated!

I would like to wish all our students and their whānau a restful and recharding break. I know there are some tired kids around! Looking forward to an exciting and action packed term 4. See you all back at kura on Monday, 9 October.

Nga mihi nui,

Michael Harrop

Principal
