Room 5 have been out and about this week with the DCC bikes in school programme. The programme is made up of three main aspects and children have to demonstrate proficiency to the tutors in each grade to progress onto the next. Grade 1 – Preparing for on-road riding Grade 2 – Introduction to on-road riding Led rides – Introduction to independent riding on the road.

Marble Run
Room 5 has had an exciting week building and creating their very own marble runs. The aim was to make the longest running construction. They were in teams and experimented with using different materials to make their ball move the slowest. They learnt a lot about teamwork!

Well done to everyone who put in a great effort and pushed themselves out of their comfort zones in our first block run for 2022. The block run is 2 laps of the block around the school. To get a badge you have to run this in certain times.
