Reminders for TERM 3.

• Please ensure all personal items are named. This includes clothing, lunchboxes, and particularly hats.

• As an Enviro school, we aim to have students' lunches as free from wrappers as possible.

• School uniform needs to be worn correctly. If in mufti contact needs to be made with your child's pastoral care teacher. Hoodies should not be worn.

• Please ensure they have the essentials for the school day. All school stationery needs to be named, even all the coloured pencils. We place a considerable emphasis on students being responsible for their own belongings.

• The classroom is open from 8.30 am.

• Learning begins at 8:50 am with the school roll. We finish school at 3 pm apart from Wednesday which is 2:30 pm.

• Sport is on a Wednesday last block for us.

• Spanish and Te Reo are taken weekly.

• The library is open to Y7 and 8 on Thursdays.

• Safety vests are part of the school uniform and are to be worn to and from school.

• Hair can be out in Years 7 and 8...but in Tech and Sport, it needs to be tied up and covered shoes due to health and safety. Unless there are nits in the classroom, we strongly suggest anyone with shoulder-length hair tie this up.

• At LPS we have a studs-only earring policy (however, small sleepers may be worn).

• Technology is a Monday and Tuesday for Y8 and Thursday and Friday for Y7. No jewellery other than plain studs or sleepers should be worn during tech for health and safety purposes.

• Any students who are unwell should be kept at home. Please email your child’s teacher and the office for our attendance records, or alternatively use the HERO app to record an absence.
