All our Year 10 students recently participated in a Careers Day which was aimed at exposing them to a wide range of future pathway opportunities.

On Tuesday 22nd of November we left to Hanmer Springs for year ten camp.

The Year 10 Materials Technology class recently completed their Patchwork cushions. Some incredible outcomes!

The annual highlight of the year in Junior Maths was held on Wednesday afternoon in the gym.

From the 3rd to the 7th of December six students aiming to complete their Silver Duke Of Edinburgh Award ventured to complete their Adventurous Journey section, along with Mr Houghton, Mr Collins and Mr Drievere. For the four year elevens this was their practice tramp, while, for the two year twelves this was their qualifying tramp.

On Friday 18th November Year 10 students participated in “Phone Free Friday”.

In Term 4 each year Aoraki Secondary School Sport runs a Junior Sports Week.

In week 5, GFactor installed a VR driving simulator at Timaru Girls’ High in the Whare Whakamanawa.

Mr and Mrs Quinonez along with Maxi and Louie welcome baby Hugo born on the the 8 October.

Year 10 student, Pippa Palmer, recently attended a five-day Bluelight Life Skills Camp at the Burnham Military Base.

Congratulations to our Good Sorts for Week 6 Term 4

Lily had a fantastic weekend racing at Wanaka at the beginning of November.

Covid restrictions dealt an unwelcome hand to our plans for this year, with our only gathering being held on 6th December when we met for a finger food lunch in the Dining Room at ‘The House’.
