Ebbett Hamilton Makes The Difference

Thanks to Ebbett Hamilton for their generous sponsorship of a 2021 Isuzu D-Max LS-M Double Cab 4x4 ute (as photographed above with Karl Nation, Ebbett Dealer Principal, and Mary Curran, Principal). The shiny new ute will be mainly used by our catering team but will also be available to other school members upon request. Our deepest gratitude to Ebbett for investing in our vision.

Wāhine toa made up 54% of The NZ Commonweath Games Team, the highest representation in Commonwealth & Olympic history - and FIVE of those incredible wāhine toa were Dio Old Girls! Julia Ratcliffe (Class of 2011) - Women’s Hammer Throw (SILVER MEDALLIST); Tarryn Davey (Class of 2013), Alia Jaques (Class of 2012) and Alex Lukin (Class of 2015) - Women’s Hockey (4th IN COMMONWEALTH); Olivia King (Class of 2018) - Cycling - Individual Sprint, Sprint Time Trial and Team Sprint (GOLD MEDALLIST). In addition, Old Girl Gloria Julia King was Chef De Mission for Team Vanuatu.

You can advise the school if your ākonga is to be absent by using one of the following methods: Email – Send an email to absent@wdsg.school.nz Phone – Call 07 855 2038, press one, then leave a message. Please state your name, your child’s name, their class, and a reason for the absence. If the absence is for more than one day, please also advise this in your message.
