COLGATE GAMES 2024

From the 12th - 14th January we had a number of students who were taking part in the South Island Colgate Games in Dunedin. This is a pinnacle South Island Athletics event that sees over 1000 athletes compete from all around the South Island, a number from the North Island and a team from Queensland, Australia. 

Congratulations to the following who took part gaining some impressive results!

Briar Craig, Zaylee Davis, Aaliayah Tagiaia, and Kaden Davis. 

It was an Amazing first day of Colgates with Briar 7th in Discus and 3rd in Long Jump, Aaliayah 6th in Shot Put and made the 200m semi, Kadin made the100m semi and Zaylee was 7th in the 400m and 1st in Long Jump!

Another hot but successful day two of Colgate Games! Aaliayah made 100m semis and was 4th Discus, Kadin made the 200m semis, Briar won bronze in High Jump and Zaylee silver in 100m final!

Day 3 of Colgate games, bought a change of weather, wet and windy, but our awesome athletes still returned more great results! Kadin 7th in Shot Put, Briar 6th in Shot Put and made the 200m semis and Zaylee won gold in the 200m final.
