Day One Challenge - Filmmaking Challenge!
Running since 2007 (formerly known as the Someday Challenge), Day One Challenge has evolved to include wrap-around support with year-round educational content, a series of events and an annual cinema showcase.
Day One Challenge is a filmmaking challenge for anyone under the age of 25 to tell their story about issues important to them.
Choose from five categories:
Impact Shorts: Films under 10 minutes that are “stories for a better tomorrow”.
Short Shorts: Films under 1 minute. Wrap up your message in 60 seconds in a vertical social media style reel.
Phone Shorts: Phone-only category. A film shot only on a phone. (under 5min)
“How To” Shorts: Share the knowledge about something that matters to you. (under 5min)
Music Shorts: Music videos for a song you have permission to use. (under 5min) (edited)
