University of Canterbury Liaison Visit on 29 February 2024

We welcomed the first of the tertiary liaison visits in 2024 with Keegan Taie, Kaitohutohu/Future Student Advisor, from the University of Canterbury (UC) on 29 February. 

Keegan gave an interesting presentation about study and life as a student at UC.  The year 13 students who attended the presentation  registered to keep updated with important information such as enrolment dates, scholarship applications, and other key events.

Students who were not able to make it to the presentations and would like to be kept informed can complete an online form or collect a UC postcard from Mrs Shearer in the Library.

Interested students should refer to the future students section on the UC website for detailed information. 

Hui Tairanga | Info Evenings are a great opportunity for senior students and their whānau to gain valuable information about UC qualifications and application processes. The South Canterbury Info Evening will be held on Wednesday 3 July from 6pm to 8.30pm at the Landing Service Conference Centre, 2 George Street, Timaru 7910. Register via this link. 

The UC Open Day/Rā Tōmene will be held on Friday 30 August 2024.

We are in the process of organising a trip to Christchurch for Year 12 and 13 students interested in visiting Canterbury University, Lincoln University, and Ara Institute of Canterbury. So watch this space!
