Wakari Whānau Roopu are holding a fun afternoon at our school hall to celebrate Te Reo Māori!

Next week Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori will be celebrated all around Aotearoa. The helpful learners from the Room 4 & 5 Hub have put together a video to help teach some everyday Te Reo Māori kupu (words).

Four Senior girls - Olive, Ora, Jade and Gracie worked hard to learn the words of the play, The Pie Thief. They performed in front of Room 4, who were a very appreciative audience.

Room 1 have been integrating Maori culture and language into several learning areas and are excited about Maori Language week, next week.

The children in Rooms 4 and 5 have enjoyed exploring their creativity with Poetry on Friday mornings.

Registrations are open for Flippaball, Futsal, T-ball and Touch

Steven has been visiting the school on Monday afternoons to teach children from the Middle and Senior Syndicates some dances from the Cook Islands.

Otago Cricket have several school holiday programmes and coaching opportunities to cater for all ability levels and skill needs during the September holidays

The annual Dunedin Santa Parade is being held on Sunday 6 December provided we are able to under Covid-19 restrictions.
