Our aim is to increase participation within our school and to extend our capable players. We have a number of opportunities open to all learners, please see details below. The purpose of this letter is to determine interest.

About a year ago a family approached the BoT with a mock up of our school uniforms. They wanted to provide cheaper uniform options [polos and jackets] for our families hoping for a discount of approx 20%.

Please keep encouraging your budding basketballers to sell tickets for our raffle. Tickets and monies due back to school 16th September.

In week 9 on 17th September, all WRPS learners will be taking part in an interactive drumming and dance performance. We are lucky to have Kadodo Drum and Dance NZ coming to visit us here at school and we are very excited to see what they have in store for us! This will be a great opportunity to extend our learning in the areas of Music and Dance and will complement our Arts Programme perfectly! There has been a $5 charge added to the children's school accounts.

We have had cases of headlice in our school community. Please check and treat your children. If you need head lice treatment, some can be provided by the school via GROW.
