Year 12 student, Dylan Neal-Hill has had a massive summer on the water and is set on seeking higher honours in years to come.

With the recent success of the CBHS music department at Jazz competitions in the South Island, it was decided in September 2015 that we take the boys on a tour to the North Island culminating with competing at the National Youth Jazz Competition in Tauranga over Easter weekend. 

Thank you very much to those members of the community who have submitted their thoughts on the two proposed locations for the new school hall The Board will now, with the help of architectural input from Athfield Architects and Jasmax, consider this feedback in line with the school’s strategic documents and make a decision so that the Hall design and the School master planning can continue.

Christchurch Boys’ High School Rugby Club requires many volunteers to assist in the support and growth of the Club. 

In 2016, four Year Nine and three Year Ten classes are dedicated eLearning classes. So what does this actually mean? Are the boys on their device every second of every lesson? Do they no longer use pen and paper? The truth is quite simple, they use their device to support and enhance their learning. 

The year 10 Camps have now come to an end for 2016. Horizons have done a great job of organising and running the camps. 

March has been another very busy month for the CBHS Careers Dept. Students have had the opportunity to attend university presentations, the CPIT Have a Go Day and also sit one-on-one with Bunnings staff and apply for part-time jobs.
